Daniel R. Spurrier, MD
Dr. Spurrier is a board-certified neurosurgeon with several decades of experience in the field.
Dr. Spurrier joined University Orthopedic Care with nearly 40 years of experience as a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon. He specializes in general neurosurgery, cerebrovascular surgery, and minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery. Dr. Spurrier also utilizes multiple nonsurgical treatment methods to help people living with acute or chronic pain.
Dr. Spurrier received his medical degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He then completed an internship in pediatrics, a fellowship in cerebrovascular surgery, and a residency in neurosurgery. He’s been board-certified in general neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He believes in using the least invasive treatment measures possible to help reduce pain and restore function for people enduring painful spine and joint conditions.
As a skilled neurosurgeon, Dr. Spurrier has experience diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the brain, spine, and nervous system.
